Terms of Service

Last updated: July 27, 2026

I wrote these terms the way I'd want a service to write them for me. Straightforward, no hidden traps, no legalese gotchas. The gist: don't be a jerk, don't do anything illegal, and we'll deliver the privacy tool you're paying for. If that sounds good, welcome aboard.

1. What You're Agreeing To

By creating a Ghostline account, you're agreeing to these terms. If something about them bugs you, don't sign up — it's that simple. We may update these terms as we grow, and if we do, we'll let you know. Continuing to use the service after changes means you're cool with the new terms.

2. What You're Getting

Ghostline gives you disposable VoIP phone numbers that work with real SMS. You get a private inbox, the ability to send and receive messages, and features like Swap n' Burn that let you destroy a number and get a fresh one instantly. What you get exactly depends on your plan — Free, Basic, Pro, or Ghost — and everything is laid out on our pricing page. No hidden limits, no surprise charges.

Bottom line: you're paying for privacy. We deliver it.

3. The "Don't Be That Guy" Rules

We built this for people who value their privacy. Don't ruin it for everyone else:

  • Don't use Ghostline to harass, threaten, or stalk people
  • Don't send spam or bulk unsolicited messages
  • Don't impersonate someone you're not
  • Don't use it for anything that's illegal where you live
  • Don't try to break the service or mess with other users

Break these rules and we'll terminate your account — no refund, no second chance. We don't want to do that, and you don't want us to. Just don't be that person.

4. Payments, Plans & Refunds

Subscriptions are prepaid and billed monthly or annually. You'll see the exact amount before you pay. We use Stripe for cards and NOWPayments for crypto — both are industry standard and handle your payment data securely.

  • Cancel anytime — keep the rest of your term. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. We don't pull the rug the second you hit cancel. You paid for a month, you get a month — regardless of payment method. This applies to Stripe, crypto, and everything in between.
  • Refunds: We handle them case-by-case. If there's a genuine issue, we'll make it right. If you just changed your mind, we probably won't — but it never hurts to ask.
  • Crypto payments: Non-refundable by nature. Once a crypto transaction confirms, there's no "undo."
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your dashboard. No hoops, no "retention specialist" calls.

5. What We're Not Responsible For

We run Ghostline with care, but we're a small team and we can't guarantee perfection. Here's the honest truth:

  • SMS delivery isn't always instant — telecom networks have delays sometimes
  • Numbers may occasionally be unavailable in certain area codes
  • We might have downtime for maintenance (we'll keep it short)
  • If your number gets flagged by a third-party service as "VoIP," that's on them, not us. Ghost tier exists for a reason.

The legal version: we provide the service "as is." Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim. We're not liable for damages from using or not being able to use the service. This is standard stuff, and if you run a business, you know why it's here.

6. Governing Law & Disputes

Ghostline LLC is formed in Wyoming, so Wyoming law governs these terms. If a dispute somehow arises (we hope it never does), it'll be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming — that's where our registered agent is based and where the company calls home.
