Canary Active — No Secret Orders Received

As of the date above, Ghostline LLC has not received:

  • Any National Security Letter (NSL)
  • Any FISA court order
  • Any wiretap order or pen register order
  • Any gag order preventing us from disclosing government data requests
  • Any subpoena for user data of any kind
  • Any informal or voluntary request from law enforcement for user data
  • Any request to modify our systems or install monitoring capabilities
  • Any directive under the Patriot Act or similar legislation

What This Is

A warrant canary is a published statement that a service has not received certain secret government requests. If Ghostline ever receives a gag-ordered demand, we would be legally prohibited from saying so — but we'd be forced to remove or modify this page. If the canary goes silent, you know something changed.

Why It Matters

Even though Ghostline is designed to have almost nothing to hand over, transparency is an extra layer of defense. This page is our commitment that you'll know if the legal landscape around us shifts.

Verification

This statement is signed with Ghostline's PGP key. Verify the signature to confirm the page hasn't been tampered with. If this page is removed, the date passes without an update, or the text is modified without explanation, assume our no-request status has changed.
